Servowarm Elite 80 timer

I have been called out to a servowarm elite 80 and the clock does not run (faulty).
I thought that maybe I could replace the timer with a standard timer for pumped system but ther seems to be another extra item in there.
A microswitch which looks as though it is a thermostat or frost stat.
Could this be replaced with standard frost stat or room stat and standard timer?
If so how is the stat connected.

Certain sevo warm mechanical clocks used to have a built in pump over run in them. Before they started fitting a pump over run controlboard to later models . Can`t remember off hand how we used to rewire them but did used to leave old clock in place on constant and wire in new clock before it. This allowed pump over run to keep working. Servowarm used to charge about 200 quid for a relacement.................. Don`t know why this has been moved to electrics as it`s a gas boiler with afault
