Hi all
Appreciate this has been discussed before but just wanted to check if this should be ok...
I can't run two separate wastes without one of them crossing over the top of a window on its way to the soil stack, so I want to tee the bath and shower wastes into one 50mm pipe.
The shower run is all in 50mm with an AAV upstream of the trap, the bath is on a very short run straight out of the wall.
I want to tee the 40mm bath waste into the 50mm shower waste on the outside, for the final run (3m) to the vented soil stack.
My thinking is that the shower won't produce enough negative pressure to pull water out of the bath trap, and the AAV on the shower will stop the bath pulling water out of the shower trap.
I don't want anti vac traps on either the shower or bath as I'm nervous about having something with moving parts in a place I cannot get to easily
