Can anyone help.

I am trying to connect a shower mixer to a 15mm rigid riser pipe.

My old one had a tap connector fitting and it worked fine.

I have tried to do the same but the tap connector leaks.

I also tried another tap connector but same problem.

Any help much appreciated.

Does the pipe go inside that fitting (on the shower) ? Most of the ones i've seen either use a flat face with a flat washer or have a recessed o'ring.

No that pipe in the photo was connected to a tap connector which was screwed onto the mixer.

The pipe that cam with the mixer would of screwed straight onto it but unfortunately it is to tall for my ceiling so i have had to make something up using 15mm chrome pipe.
