Hi,

I was wondering if someone could advise me on my shower pump.

I installed a Windmill Wasp 46 about 8 years ago. All was fine until this morning when it made a distinctively different noise and less pressure at the shower head.

I have taken both inlets off and cleaned the filters but still no better. When running it and getting up close it is noticeable that a blue electrical light (looks like a gas flame!) is coming from one side - I don't remember seeing this before.

Couple of questions:

1) Is it knackered (I suspect yes)
2) Is it unsafe (I am going away for a couple of nights and don't want to leave the family with it if it is).
3) Any recommendations for a replacement as it doesn't look like the do the 46 anymore.

Cheers

CH
