Shower

Hi,
We have a shower room and recently the shower is not getting hot. Sometimes it will call for hot water at the boiler and it will get hot but on other occassions it wont. The bath and taps etc in the 2nd bathroom work fine and get red hot and likewise for taps in the kitchen, so it must be the shower. Has anyone any idea what this may be.

if the shower is a cartridge type they fail to cold so you don't scald yourself.

if you know what shower it is you could google shower spares.

if the boiler is failing to fire up when the shower is on it sounds more like the dhw diaphragm could be on its last legs.
