I am planning a shower on the ground floor and the tray needs to be level with the floor for wheel chair access; my problem is the waste; it would be very useful if i could pump the waste up to 12" to connect it to the washing machine waste pipe; i was thinking of using a w/m pump; any advice/comments

Try looking at this. Don't know much about them.

If you plan to use a wahing machine pump it will have to be below the level of the floor as they are not self priming. better off using something like the above
