Small Pointing repair colour of premixed mortar

Hi,

I need to do some small pointing repairs on bricks around the front door. Its a small job so was going to use some of that premixed repair mortar, however when I've used it before it drys very grey and the pointing I'm matching it to is a sandy colour. Could I just add a bit of sand to mix to change colour or is there a dye or something ?

Final colour depends on sand used, better to look for an orange sand and mix your own.
