SMEG DWI409C Dishwasher Fault....

My dishwasher will not fill, i can here the pump working but alas there is no water!

After about 2mins it beeps and displays an error code on the display first light flashes and fifth light is constantly on, apparently this is an E1 code. Does anyone know the remedy for this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

E1 in my manual is anti flood system and techincal advise needs to be sought. I expect you have now sorted this. Just added response as mine is playing up but not displaying any error lights so I am baffled!!
