Does anyone know where I might be able to advertise for reliable labourers? I have tried gumtree in the past and it did not really work out. I have a lot of basic work that I need help with but am struggling to find the people to do it.

Try rated people. Actually put your phone number in the main body of the message so they don't have to pay for the lead.
