After being held to ransom over heating oil I've decided my new years resolution will be insulate, insulate, draught proof, solar hot water, maybe an air source heat pump...how much actually will get done though...anyway the old wooden windows are falling apart and I have access to a well equiped cabinet makers workshop.I was thinking I might be able to make the windows if i could find some plans/specs somewhere.I have been lucky enough over the years to gain the neccessary workshop joinery skills.
I recall seeing a manufacturer at the grand designs exhibition a couple of years ago,and he used quite sophisticated manufacturing techniques-cant find them now-only looking for ideas anyway.
Any help much appreciated.

New regulations have come in recently on the manufacture of windows, Mighton might be a source of info, but otherwise they aren't difficult to make.
