Now then!
I am about to replace 2/3rd of my worm infested & damaged floor boards with shiny new chipboard panels.
There are three walls with two door frames in the way - I can easily cut the old nails/screws to remove the old flooring from under the walls... Do I need to do anything to replace the fixings between the floor and the sole plates and new floor? If so - how?
Incidentally, the walls are cellular core walls - so I'd prefer not to open them up and compromise their strength.
Would those really long screws (~5") - driven in at say 30 degrees from vertical in opposing directions on each side of the wall do the job?
I am replacing the skirting boards as well so they would be hidden from view
