We have the following CH system: Gravity fed Suprima 50 (replacement PCB (in plastic case)), new Thermistor (plenty of Heatsink Compound), new Grundfos Pump (working well).
Unfortunately, the Temperature Control on the boiler is having no effect on the point when the boiler stops firing. The boiler sounds as though it is close to boiling before it stops firing and the pipes are very hot (we have a small child in the house and don't want to burn them if they come into contact with a radiator etc). Even with the Control right back next to the OFF position it is the same. The OFF position itself does work.
Any ideas of where to check next? I'm getting close to getting my multimeter out and checking the actual Temp Control pot but would expect it to go open circuit rather than full continuity if it went wrong.
