Hi all, I need to fit a thermostat to my fairly old boiler.

It uses a mains powered stat, so I need to run live, neutral, earth and switch wire to my stat.

Can I use 1.5m 3 core + earth or does it have to be 2.5mm 3 core + earth?

The boiler says it needs a 3 amp spur for power so there won't be more than that running through the stat?

Cheers

I haven't seen 0.5mm 3C+E before (that's not to say it doesn't exist though) but both 1mm and 1.5mm would both be acceptable from a current carrying perspective.
