Is there anyway that a coating or tyrolean can be put on an already rendered ( finished Render) external wall without hacking off the render and starting from scratch some areas have paint on.

Been told render bond will be ok to tyrolean on top off.

If this is correct where can I get renderbond from

Thanks

YES is the short answer. rendabond is a glue/primer which helps additional coats of render or other cement based products stick to the previous one.
BUT
The first question is what are you trying to achieve Decoration/change of look or repair defective render
Hacking of may be the best solution if the existing is bad you dont want to spend lots and have it all fall off in 2 years because you didn't prepare properly.

Have a look at How to "rendering on this site"

and WWW.castlecement.co.uk Products /

Thanks for you reply, The answer to you question is
A way of covering small cracks in the render (all seems stable ) and to make it look better for selling in the not to distant future.

Textured masonary pain't may be your best answer then it gives a beter finish than smoth paint and will fill/cover fine cracks and dosnt need special skills or equipment.to apply

Pluss it gives a what u see is what u get assurance to prospective buyers /surveyors who don't end up wondering if you have tride to hide a problem by applying tyrolean etc If you do go that rout take some pics befor so people can see exactly what condition render was in
