Can any tell me how to test the pressure relief valve and the expansion vessel on a Vaillant eco tech. The pressue remains in the CH system when the heating is on but drops off when it is cold - cant find any CH pipes leaking?

Check the pressure relief pipe were in exists to the out side, if its dripping or damp inside the pipe the valve will possible need changing.
The expansion vessel can be checked with a tyre pressure gauge, there is a shrader valve on the expansion vessel. should read approx; 1 bar
