Hi all, Newbie here. Boiler coming up 3 years old. Just noticed that the condensate trap is directly above the electrical spur socket so cannot be removed. Also last Monday, the CH water pressure went up from norm of 2.4Bar to 2.9Bar and was flashing in the display. Drained about 1 Litre from a rad and it went back to 2.4Bar. Happened again twice. Just noticed when I removed the filling loop, the NR valve is leaking at hte push in fitting. removed filling loop both ends and the small screw fitting at the other end is also weeping, around 1 Litre every 4 hours.
Seems Vaillant are not the usual high quality. Now it'll cost for 2 new valves to stop a leak.
Questioon. Why would the pressure be increasing? There is not enough weep on the valves. Also what should the cold system pressure be? It's been constant 2.2Bar for 3 years then suddenly a problem. I tried to drop cold pressure to below 2 Bar but the Boiler wouldn't start. It tried 3 times then stopped so I had to restore Cold pressure to more than 2Bar for it to work. Driving me mad.
