Vanitian Plastering

I want to get peoples views on vanitian plaster, I'm thinking of having this done in my living room chimney breast like a feature wall but I'm not sure what it will look like. Has anyone else had this done before and how does it look?

I've seen videos on Youtube and it looks nice but not to sure what it looks like in person. Do we have any vanitian plasters on here ?

I think its called "Venetian" polished plaster. I have no experience of it but it should be a straightforward job for a plasterer.

I agree it looks easy so easy that any competent diyer could do it
