Hi. I have a bath then sink emptying into the same pipe run to the vent pipe. It doesn't have a big drop.
Recently after emptying either there is bubbling noise from the bath plughole, which goes on for a couple of minutes. I've used a plunger on both (repeatedly) and neither seems blocked, and the breather pipes on them are also clear.

Is the bubbling likely to mean that there's a blockage in the vent pipe/soil pipe? Or something else?
If so, I can't see any access holes to it so what options do I have for clearing it? Thanks for all help!

Nope it means you need an anti vacuum trap fitting to your bath and possibly your basin (your sink is in your kitchen), problem is with differential pressures in your waste pipes, if you can change them yourself, post here for further advice,it`s not a big job.

Thanks chantelle, I had a look at them online. Look like a straight replacement for the p bend that's there now (apologies for the bad terminology!) - is that so? There's very little space below the bottom of the bath to get anything sizeable in if it goes in as well as the existing device, above or below it. If it's a replacement thing I'd be comfortable doing it myself (dangerous thing to say......:) ).

Yes, the trap will look mostly the same but will have a small extra bit on top that looks like it will unscrew this is the anti vac mechanism. :D
