As per the title, I’d appreciate some recommendations for a video doorbell and indoor cameras.

It’s for the MIL who is in the early stages of dementia. Mrs Mottie and her sister visit her 4 times a week but the brother (who actually lives the nearest) is always 'too busy' to help out. We want the doorbell to be able to monitor the comings and goings of her and any carers and the indoor cameras, possibly one in the lounge and one in the kitchen, to keep an eye on her. We want to be able to see if she is eating/drinking/not leaving food out on the worktops to go off etc. Was thinking of ring/blink or something else along those lines.

Anyone using these and can recommend something?

Thanks

The google Nest range is pretty good for a basic set up. They do fire alarms too. So when I'm away for example I always know when my Son is cooking bacon sandwiches. "Smoke in the hallway". The basic Nest Door bell is easy to install with an existing mains/transformer door bell and I also left my original ringer in place (a bell).

There is one catch - if you don't pay for the subscription, its basically an alerter and the ability to live talk to people. Video recording etc. needs a subscription.

I have wireless Ring doorbell subscription £3 to record ,nothing for live.Alexa camera in the house but you will need wi fi for most things.
