Recently had some problems caused by Backdoor.Rbot.AS, Win32/Heur, IRC/Backdoor.SdBot4.EMB and Generic11.AJFO. None of them were picked by "avast" so thats been binned.

I think I've sorted everything, but, I ran a programme called "hijackthis"
and after googling was advised to delete the following;

O2 - BHO: (no name) - (7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045) - (no file)
O4 - HKLM \ .. \ Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE
O4 - HKLM \ .. \ Run: [Benq Drv] sbdhost.exe
O4 - HKLM \ .. \ RunServices: [Benq Drv] sbdhost.exe

Can anyone advise?

Everything seems ok at the moment, except WE takes a bit of time to wake up, but I've put that down to reinstalling AVG.

Thanks

Could be part of Windows Live Messenger. Delete if you do not use this service

O4 - HKLM \ .. \ Run: [Alcmtr] ALCMTR.EXE
Installed with hardware drivers for AC97 device. Think it should be ok to delete as it is rumoured to be data collector for Realtek

O4 - HKLM \ .. \ Run: [Benq Drv] sbdhost.exe
Do you have a Benq DVD/CD device? sbdhost.exe could well be malware

O4 - HKLM \ .. \ RunServices: [Benq Drv] sbdhost.exe
Same as above

Thanks Tony, will delete them in the near future, but can't take any risks with pc at the moment, waiting to get my money back from icesave.
