Vokera compact combi dhw

I'm having some gremlins with my vokera compact. Ch works fine until turning on hot tap for dhw. Leads to solid red light and boiler shutting down which resets itself after a few minutes and central heating resumes. If I turn the boiler to summer mode and only use if for dhw only the boiler works fine giving as much hot water as you would need.

Any suggestions on what this May be?

It sounds as if the boiler is overheating.

Difficult to guess exactly why without being in front of the boiler!

I would be checking the temperature sensors and that the DHW flow switch is turning off promptly.
