Hiya, noticed boiler wasn't coming on when it usually does cos no hot water. when i pressed hot water advance it didn't do anything. there appears to be no pilot light on through the little window on the front, does it even have one? got a plumber out from this company who cleaned it and said there was a spider in it or somethin!!!! and replaced two plastic pipes? the boiler appeared to be working when he left without giving us me a reciept etc.... now the boiler will respond to heating/hotwater advance buttons but turns off after 30 secs. if you go the boiler, press and hold the red button its engine comes on but it just makes a fast clicking noise like a gas cooker would make when you hold spark button, but doesn't make the "whoosh" gas being lit noise, then it switches it self off again! the callcentre says no receipt means we apparently are lying that he even came out!!!!!!! so he be wont coming back. i suppose at least it comes on a little bit now!

apparently the first plumber had trapped the earth wire in the boiler casing so it kept cutting out before the gas is released from the valve! I am very pleased and happy.
