Hi, I have a Sharan 7N but believe this is a common set of parts across VAG including Golf Mk7 so hopefully more commonly known!
The centre console has two rear USB ports for 2nd row seats, powered from a red plug. I can't find this plug in the wiring diagram (page 1/14). There is no voltage on this plug when ignition and radio are on. Any idea where the other end is and how to get to it?
Do you know if the module is 12v? If so, and troubleshooting is hard, I was thinking of cutting the cable and scotch locking from the adjacent cig lighter. Would this be a good idea?
I was wondering if the module is powered by the head unit and hence may be 5v.
