wall mounted to normal bath?

hi ya, just wanted to know if it is possible to have a wall mounted shower/bath tap fitted to a standard two hole bath? if so do i need a converter/adapter and what would this part be called and would it be available in any plumbing/diy shop?

Plumbers merchant, the sheds are hopeless for anything unusual.
