Hi
When using lining paper do you have to use same paste for finish wallpaper? as I was going to use solvite for lining walls and decorators choice ready mixed for finish paper. Thx

Solvite is fine for the lining paper. make sure there is plenty on the paper and size the wall also as you go. You can either use the Solvite or a ready mixed adhesive for the finish paper if you prefer.

Most wallpaper pastes are fairly good to use nowadays, but if you're using a powdered one, then you adjust the amount of water depending on the type of wallpaper you're working with. If I'm using lining paper, then I tend to mix the solvite (or equivalent) as the same as for anaglypta. What range of wallpapers will the decorators choice handle if it's ready mixed.

I would stick:unsure:to the same make for both lining and finish. You should only need the ready mixed if the wallpaper manufacturer specifies it.
