Washing Machine

Can anyone help please. My WMA44 Hotpoint Aquarius Washing Machine got as far as putting the fabric conditioner into the machine then the programme stopped working all the lights were flashing and I can't get it to work again. The machine is not dead but the drum won't turn anymore and there is a little water still in the drum. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need an engineer!

have you checked the filter at the rear of mc . does the drum spin when on spin prog .does the water empty out
