Hi all,
Newbie here! I've been a silent observer for a little while but am not needed a bit of a DIY pointer.
So i installed a new sink (same style as the old one but slightly deeper) at the weekend and am just putting the waste in but the waste fittings (replaced the old fittings with the new components) don't fit in 2 different planes i.e. too low & not enough reach. Stop.
I'm having a bit of bother getting the p trap to fit.
Any suggestions? (I know its difficult to see from this angle) but the waste could do with being lower I suppose, and longer to reach the trap but the waste (black) seems to be sealed/bonded so seems a more arduous task to deal with than the 1 1/2" screw fixings.
i was thinking a flexible joint at the top left just under the 1/2 sink? But then that might stress the joint on the main bowl?
Any recommendations (even "get a plumber in!") are welcomed?!
Thanks
Boz
