Please help.
We have noticed recently that the upstairs shower seems to be playing up. As if someone is turning on a tap whilst in shower which renders the shower really hot.
I think I have identified this as the downstairs tap in the cloakroom. when turned on and off (louder when switching off), that it makes a sound like when you vibrate a ruler on a desktop (like at school !!). it also does make this sound intermittently at times when not even touching the tap.
Can someone identify if this is waterhammer or an airlock. and if possible a remedy to cure this. it is becoming more pronounced.
