is there any reason why my newly installed boiler would be turning eco mode off? I turned it on last night and the green light was on but this morning I checked it and the button isn't illuminated anymore. I don't really need the water preheated.

I guess this is a potential fault then if no one has any ideas. Turned it on again yesterday and it was still lit when I went to bed but this morning it's turned off again.

Do you have the integral digital timer on the front of the boiler? If so then the timing for "hot water" controls the eco mode/preheat. Set it to "off" if that's the case.

Thanks. I have the DT10RF.

I checked the boiler and it is set to 'Once', so I will set this to 'Off'. The manual isn't very clear about the eco mode, and I didn't want to turn off hot water altogether.

From what I've heard, even if you ring up Worcester and ask them they aren't sure how to explain it .

Can I resurrect this thread, if set to "off" then surely you have no hot water?
