We have some wet room glass 12mm 2200x1250 to be installed, the original suggestion was to use a U-channel - http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/s...43:7146:14894:14906:14894&ModelID=62151&pom=0 to install the glass on the vertical end of the wall. The advice was that this should be sufficient as the glass is 12mm thick and doesn't require additional support.

The alternative is to install the same channel in the floor for horizontal support, however this is unsightly. The alternative again is a brace bar from the top, but again this is not the most sightly.

Does it need additional support? I have seen Matki https://www.matki.co.uk/products/wet-rooms/eauzone-plus-12mm-wet-room-panel/ were they only have support from the top and no brace.

The third alternative is to just drop it into a grove by the shower tray and tile either side up to the glass so you can't see thus supporting along the entire piece and keep the U channel in the wall.

Any ideas from people?
