Scot Mills replacing Steve Wright
Weather boy Owain Win Evans replacing Vanessa Feltz

As you're so concerned about the sexuality of TV presenters, here's your opportunity to have your say:

THIS Morning fans couldn't believe their ears today when relationship expert Vanessa Feltz revealed she uses vegetables to spice up her sex life with fiancé Ben Ofoedu.

Personally, I wasn't familiar with any of the presenters, and I couldn't give a flying **** (sex act of any description) about their sexuality or gender.

This good news just never stops for you does it

Personally it doesn't matter much to me as long as the news is accurate. I either like what I listen to, or find something else. Gay or not is not my criteria for liking or not.

Maybe something to do with quotas and adjustments of them?
Maybe nothing to do with quotas and adjustments of them.

Why is it, the usual suspects argue for promotion, recruitment, etc, on competency alone, but when a gay, ethnically diverse, disabled person, etc, is recruited, these same people automatically assume the recruitment is based on "a programme"?

Do they really believe that the people in the minority groups are lest capable than the rest?
Do they really believe that only white British people can be the more capable?

If they don't believe such nonsense, what is it that drives their suspicions and assumptions?

Its a bit like the torry party, so desperate to show diversity they have lost the plot

About time the best person for the job is picked - and if that happens to be a white middle aged straight bloke then so be it.

What makes you think they haven't picked the best person for the post?

because their ethnicity gender etc would better represent society - At he moment organisations are desperate to show diversity, and as such their is clearly a massive over representation of any minorities in public facing organisation. Clearly discrimination is taking place.

You're still convinced that their appointment had nothing to do with their ability and more to do with their sexuality.
You're still convinced that meritocracy was not the strategy employed, but that it was some "programme" of diversity.
Your belief in white heterosexual supremacy is plain to see.

So are we to assume that you agree with this?
There's negative discrimination, and there's positive discrimination.
You appear to be content with the negative aspects, but you object to any positive actions to rectify the results of negative discrimination.
That's pretty much supporting negative discrimination while opposing positive discrimination.

I think the Beeb is running out of money - it's back catalogue of programs, even ones screened earlier this year are being shown on 'Drama'. Many presenters are doing more than one job on the Beeb, some completely different to what their normal role is. Saying that have you never changed jobs during your career? I have 8 times in 45+ years; OK 5 of those changes within one company but doing a completely different role than what I was doing at the end of the apprenticeship.

As for Steve Wright, thank F*** he's gone, detestable idiot.

Not worried whether they are gay or straight - far more disillusioned with the adverts (ALL) containing mixed heritage (read 'race') families.

Would a turkey vote for Christmas?
Plenty did in 2016...

And again in 2019...

No doubt they'll do the same in 2024 (or sooner), unless they are 1.8288 metres under by then!

You'd never believe that LGBTQ+ etc make up about 3% of the population based on the demographic of the beeb.

You will find plenty of alternatives to the BBC content if you shop around and spend your license fee on a streaming subscription. So long as you do not watch any live TV via any means, or use iPlayer, you don't need a TV licence.

Care to substantiate your assumptions?
audiences tv and radio are plummeting at a rate of knots,

people are switching off choosing not to buy a licence

driving the BBC off a cliff

There's three assumptions of yours to go at.

Discrimination is always devisive
Positive discrimination is designed to be positive.
It's designed to be inclusive.

and those who are paid to help to end discrimination don't want to end discrimination because they will be kicked off the gravy train.
Would a turkey vote for Christmas?
Are you suggesting that anyone involved in promoting diversity is against diversity?
If you are, that'll be the most ridiculous argument I've heard in a very long time, well, since motorbiking's strawman arguments anyway.
