What does this look like?

This is the window frame in our bathroom. It's a wooden frame painted white. Over the past 6 months I've been noticing these brownish marks appearing. They can be wiped off but grow back quite quickly.

Does it look like a fungus? Mould? Mildew?

Ventilation is quite good in the bathroom and we always open a window after showers etc.

Would like to remove it completely and stop it returning!

Any help appreciated

Looks like mould, ventilation needs improving, opening a window does little, need mechanical ventilation.
