What exactly is Moisture Resistant paint?

Hi all,i'm planning to paint my bathroom soon. I have recently done my kitchen using the Forest Stroll colour from this range

I'm pretty happy with the results, it feels thick and durable, it is standing up well to scratches and moisture, as advertised.

The only problem is the sheen. This type of paint, as it says, is "mid sheen", and i'd say it does deliver well on that claim. But for my bathroom, i don/'t want mid sheen. I want areas of high sheen (much shinier than this) and areas of low sheen (matt, basically)

But since it is a bathroom, i still want it to be moisture resistant, that seems like a very important quality
But IS it a quality ? Is this resistance a seperate factor caused by the ingredients, or simply an explicitly advertised side effect of it being mid sheen? I've noticed gloss paint elsewhere seeming pretty resistant to moisture. can matt paint be moisture resistant too?

So, i want more shine than this, and also less shine, while still being good for wet environments, any thoughts?

I've also noticed that there are these "washable" paints which come in matt

What is the difference between a paint that is washable (presumably with water),and one that is moisture resistant?

And why are all of these such bland, washed out colours (hah) ? Is there something about making a paint washable that makes it unable to have deep, vibrant colour?

Dulux Bathroom Easycare is available in any colour, are you only looking on Amazon?
I see, i'm looking into that:
I used the paint picker on their site, Location: Bathroom, Finish: Matt, and blue shades, i found this which seems decent

But it doesn't actually seem to be a "bathroom paint", no moisture resistance features are advertised on this. Their site specifically has a checkmark system for
-Moisture resistant
-Mold resistant technology

So these are definitely discrete features of a paint, at least according to dulux

as can be found on this one

But this has a sheen finish, which brings me right back to the start, dulux bathroom paints don't seem to have a paint that is both moisture resistant, and has a matt finish. Is this possible?

Also, why are all of these moisture resistant paints so dull?

Here's the closest i can find to the colour i want
this colour is #304965, the saturation is only 52%, they're all like this. Its as if all of these paints got a pint of dark grey mixed in. I want a blue that is like this, but brighter and more saturated, something like #205b9e

Sure i could just buy some white too and mix it in. But that only helps the brightness, it won't make it more blue.

For the blue i guess there's this: https://yescolours.com/products/ele...ource=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=22377271181
But it is just a normal paint, lacking moisture resistance qualities. I dont want to mix in a non-moisture-resistant bright blue and ruin those properties of the coating

Head to a proper paint shop, who will be able to provide what you need, in any colour you can dream of.

I've previously used Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell. It is mid-sheen, but very good in a bathroom I found.

It's usually an acrylic paint, rather than a latex emulsion.

Distemper is also moisture resistant, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I tried moisture resistant paint from Wilko's but it didn't really work that well, so i tiled the wall instead a couple of years later.
