Hi all,i'm planning to paint my bathroom soon. I have recently done my kitchen using the Forest Stroll colour from this range
I'm pretty happy with the results, it feels thick and durable, it is standing up well to scratches and moisture, as advertised.
The only problem is the sheen. This type of paint, as it says, is "mid sheen", and i'd say it does deliver well on that claim. But for my bathroom, i don/'t want mid sheen. I want areas of high sheen (much shinier than this) and areas of low sheen (matt, basically)
But since it is a bathroom, i still want it to be moisture resistant, that seems like a very important quality
But IS it a quality ? Is this resistance a seperate factor caused by the ingredients, or simply an explicitly advertised side effect of it being mid sheen? I've noticed gloss paint elsewhere seeming pretty resistant to moisture. can matt paint be moisture resistant too?
So, i want more shine than this, and also less shine, while still being good for wet environments, any thoughts?
