It does not surprise me that its been locked although I would always expect an explanation to be shown!

It might well be that it was going nowhere because the OP seems unable to explain exactly what system he has and thinks that its possible for the flow to go round in circles inside a radiator and get "locked up".

If course if Lynda thinks it does not need to be locked then she could always unlock it!
