I have been told that I have furnox in my heating system, can anyone tell me what this is, is it toxic etc.

It's a corrosion inhibitor. Central heating systems should have it to prevent rusting along the inside of radiators.
You may occasionally need to add more, especially if you drain your system and add water, or if there's evidence of rusting.
