Which carpet, Regal Satisfaction or Kingsmead Triple Twist?

Choosing carpet is not easy lol.

We have got down to 2 carpets in our search, we have

Regal Satisfaction, saxony 100% polypropelene

or

Kingsmead Triple Twist Berber

Pile Content: 80% Wool, 10% polypropylene, 10% polyester (Kingloc)

Style: Twist

Backing: Secondary

Weights: Super / Elite / Luxury

Suitable: Heavy Domestic


we like both, the satisfaction looks more comfy and is cheaper but the wife is afraid of the carpet leaving inprints in the carpet.

So what do you reckon?

also 40, 50 or 60oz if its the twist.

not really clued up, if i had the 60 oz, coud i get the cheapest underlay?

match the underlay to the carpet ....simples

The PP carpet will give you stain resistance The wool will not
However the wool will keep its appearance in the long run

...In my experience avoid the 60oz it is prone to shading. The 50oz is fine and a very heavy duty carpet.

...for both carpet choices a 9mm pu underlay is the one you need.
