Jeez, give a bloke a chance!...............I'm trying to wire in a roomstat into the boiler's electrics, the actual wiring procedure is simple BUT having removed the white boiler case I can't work out how to get into the electric compartment. It seems the silver panel with the pressure gauge needs to come off, but I can't get that off and don't want to start forcing things...............any ideas lads?

The bottom panel drops forward and the connections are at the back of the panel, cant remember is there is a screw holding it in place or not.

No, the silver panel or pressure guage doesn't need to come off. The panel hinges at the bottom, and just snaps in at the top. Just pull top of panel towards you to release catch.

If your stat has an anticipator, you need to change parameter (P5) from 0 to 1 on the control panel. See the manual.

Thanks lads, a strong pull hinges the whole lot down n hey presto!

Whitespirit66 The stat is volt free without anticipator
