Wood hardener puzzle

Has anyone used Ronseal wood hardener and, if so, how did you clean the brush afterwards? I looked all over the tin but found nothing so I tried white spirit. A few minutes later I picked the brush out of the jar only to find that the stuff was still in the brush and going sticky.

I think I got most of it out with neat washing-up liquid followed by water but if anybody knows a better way I'd be really pleased to hear it.

Cellulose thinners.

Personally I use sacrificial brushes for things like wood hardener.

Thanks for the quick reply. I put the filler in last night (also Ronseal) and this time the tin did say to clean tools with cellulose thinners. Next time I need to use hardener I'll take your advice and get a pack of Smart Price brushes.
