The Sill on the door frame has worked loose,(the door frame is a door and a wood panel 1.8m Wide)Part of the frame at the bottom has gone rotten (about 60cms) I have put wood hardener on it,but how do I fix the sills back on,I was thinking of putting a bracket underneath into the stone work, but this will go below the damp proof course, will this matter?

See this from previous post,if this isn't the answer you're looking for,I will reply later tonight

Cut the cill out flush with the legs of the frame and get yourself one of the newer aluminium cills that have the drain holes and rubber draught seals built in . Dead easy to fit and will outlive the door itself. All the usual DIY places stock them in brass or chrome effect.
