worcester 25Si (old model) faulty DHW - help please

hi there

my DHW only runs for about 20 seconds before it locks out

had a dodgy exhaust fan for a while but that is working now

CH works well enough most of the time

water flow switch seems to be operating ok

confused!

do you reckon if the fan is intermittently sluggish
then when the DHW request, it can't cope with the extra exhaust?

I am very confused now

seems fan is rotating against the exhaust flow

I've tried reversing the polarity

BUT IT STAYS GOING THE WRONG WAY

I do not understand!

The fan is part of the gas combustion process and you should not be touching it as you are obviously not qualified or experienced.

You need to call a gas registered engineer.
