Hi,

I am about to replace our boiler with a Worcester 40 CDi for central heating and a separate hot water cylinder.

I want to use a twin channel programmable thermostat for temperature and hot water control and do away with the usual programmer. The thermostat would replace the current temperature only thermostat in the hallway.

According to Worcester any twin channel thermostat would do but could not recommend a particular one.

Can anyone recommend a programmable twin channel thermostat in combination with the 40 CDi?

Many thanks.

Salus are doing mix and match kits. You get a transmitter that plugs directly into the clock/timer plate, and a choice of wireless room stat.

Haven't personally used one on a Worcester yet but have fitted about 5 on Vaillants. Good bits of kit and not pricey. Can even go with a wifi thermostat that can be controlled via an app on your phone.

Thank you ukgas.

According to the Salus website their products are compatible with the Worcester CDi range, great.

Yes they come in a pack specifically for Worcesters. The sender unit that plugs in to the front of the boiler and the programmable stat receives it's signal from this. Really simple to fit.
