Hi, this isn't really a problem, more of a question...
I have a WB Greenstar 24i Condensing Boiler installed in 2008 in my house. Everything is operating as would be expected, however,
When the boiler is running to satisfy a CH demand and there is a DHW demand you hear the diverter valve switching over 'hot' ie the burner remains on but when the DHW demand is removed the boiler likes to 'idle' for 5/6 mins before firing back up in CH mode. This means the boiler 'mucks about' quite a bit and first thing in the morning when water is constantly used for washing etc. This leads to the house cooling down or not heating up fully if it was in that process.
Is this supposed to happen?
Thanks in advance for any posts,
Merry Christmas.
