Woke up to a freezing house this morning,boiler blue light flashing.Have tried reset many times,boiler tries to fire up a lot of gurgling the green light comes on briefly then cuts out.
 
Check the condensate outlet isn't frozen, and trap clear.
 
Condensate blocked and water backed up to boiler. Look for frozen condense pipe. Do not try to operate boiler until cleared.
I'm not quick enough :wink:
 
I have unscrewed the condensate pipe from the boiler and water came out but the boiler wont reset.
 
ok now, the header tank in the loft was empty ,ball valve stuck,all sorted.Thanks for replies.
