Any of you guys come across anything like this:

Worcester Highflow 400 electronic rsf

Boiler has a long history of blockages, its had 4 plate heat exchangers, 3 diverters, powerflushed (apparantly)

Its now blocked again.

Found in the heat bank a load of green slime (like swarfega)

I know the guy who cleared the blockage last time and he removed loads of green slime from the heat bank as well.

I have never come across this before, could it be some form of algae growing in there?

Any ideas?

Usually the result of adding citric acid ( DS40 etc. ) and leaving it in the system!
