Yet another Ravenheat boiler problem

I don't know anything about pre-heating, it's a condensing combi, turn the tap on and it heats the water.

Not sure if it is a WH100 or a WH130.

It's heating that runs up the units, not hot water.

Ravenheat White heat range , fairly new models.

hot water pre-heat is a facility were bye the boiler will keep the hot water in the plate at a constant temperature hence the boiler will fire/ light in order to do this irrespective of any water demand i.e a tap is opened ? hence if
(& I stress the word if) boiler fires on pre heat gas consumption will increase

If ?? the boiler is set for pre-heat u as the user cannot turn it off via the control panel

The above may be an issue ?? dunno ?? just a thought ? boiler may need range rating in the heating mode ??

have u spoken to "shade of green " about the gas consumption ?
