Zanussi DX6453 Dishwasher

The dishwasher will not heat the water and the cleaning tablets don't fully dissolve. Do you think it's the dishwasher element or the temperature sensing device?

It could be any of the following:
Heater fault - Thermostat/NTC fault - Wiring fault - or even a PCB issue. You would need a multimeter & basic electrical knowlege to check the heater/thermostat/NTC
