zanussi ZFV826 Flashing lights & refuses to work!!

I have a year old & little used washing Machine, it was completing washes until the final spin, or so it seemed. so i tried first a rinse, then just a spin, both get to the spin & just slowly revolve the drum whilst at the time the pump can be heard, this would go on until cancelled. trying to be a clever dicky I turned the selector to the spin option whilst holding in the start button & the next 2 buttons in, this has left me with a totally useless machine that just flashes 3 lights at me whatever i do. can any expert out there help me to reset my machine.
