Hi.
I'm looking to install a new shower cubicle against the external wall of my bathroom. The wall is currently tiles (to be replaced), over plasterboard dotted and dabbed onto blockwork, and i'd like the pipework to the mixer to be concealed.
I'm planning to pull the plasterboard off to fix the pipework against the blockwork, then to batten out, re-board and tile.
I have a couple of questions that I would appreciate your advice on...
Would you run the concealed pipework in plastic or copper?
Would you use a proprietary bar valve fixing kit? Such as the H&C one (available from screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/p/h-c-conte... Bar Valve Fixing Kit Chrome Effect&source=aw )
I'm trying to get a good solid fixing for the mixer bar, and i'm worried about hanging it off the pipework...
Thank you
Tim
