I'm smart enough .
Some clever people at the NHS think its a good idea to start stockpiling drugs. I'm nut sure whether they are twunts though. Let's hope hate doesn't have a 'turn' a need urgent medicine whilst shouting twunts at the top of his voice when they have run out.

Poor old Hate.

Gosh you must work in the EU, how else would you know

Think about it.

Everybody who voted for Brexit knew what it was, didn't they.

So as soon as anybody can answer that question, then the answer to all the other questions fall into place. So I don't need to work for the EU, or the Government, just need to know what was voted for.

Don't tell me people voted for something that they didn't know? Did they?

I expect the EU will want £10b a year to stay in 'a customs union'.
You could be right on this front. In the event of a no deal scenario the backstop is for NI to remain aligned with EU, i.e. in The Customs Union.
Now TM and DUP have said that NI will not be alone in that event because the United Kingdom will stay united. Thus the rest of the UK will also stay aligned with the EU, otherwise known as The Customs Union, but by the back door. Barnier has already ruled that 'access' out.
Thus, the UK will have access to The Customs Union, at a price to be negotiated but no 'seat at the table'.

Hate has just admitted it.

Remainers didnt have a clue, neither did leavers.

This idea that any side 'knew what they were voting for' is bollards.

I knew exactly what I was voting for...The status quo as regards membership of the EU.

Not a difficult concept to understand.

Suggesting that 'remainers' didn't know what that meant is quite frankly a pathetic straw grabbing exercise!

But at least you admit that quitters haven't got a clue (y)

Let's think about that too?

I had a choice of Remain or Leave.

Remain meant remain, stay as we were. Ideally I would like some changes, but staying as we were would allow that.

What did Leave mean? Brexit means brexit ?

The thing that quitters just don't get is that some of the 'changes' they yearned for (especially immigration issues) were perfectly allowable under existing EU rules!

But most of their ills are home grown, and won't change one iota - in fact they'll just get worse!

Of course they did....

Think of queues of dowdy wives patiently waiting for their bully beef and half ounce of butter. Bliss.

If they wanted the UK to become the laughing stock of Europe - they have already succeeded in that.
