Hi, my bungalow has had the attic converted to provide 2 bedrooms and a shower room. The soffits have rectangular soffit vents fitted.
I am intending to cap over the eaves and soffit boards using upvc. The fascia boards are in good condition. However I would like to keep the soffits free of vents , the current vents are unsightly and covered in filth.
I am considering using over fascia vents. Would the vents simply fit on top of the existing fascia's or would I have to remove material from the top of the existing fascia to make room for the vents in order to maintain the 'line' of the concrete roof tiles?
Thanks in advance for your advice
